How KitchenInvy handles customer data
KitchenInvy stores restaurant inventory, user access, supplier, reporting, waste, recipe, billing reference, and integration data so restaurant teams can manage daily operations. Customer data is scoped by workspace and is not intentionally shared between unrelated customers.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as name, email address, role, restaurant name, team invitations, and subscription status. Customers may also enter inventory items, item photos, supplier names, costs, par levels, waste records, order lists, recipes, POS catalog information, and change history.
How we use it
We use customer data to run the product, show reports, support onboarding, process subscriptions, send transactional emails, troubleshoot issues, and improve KitchenInvy. We do not sell restaurant inventory data.
Integration credentials
POS credentials entered by customers are encrypted before storage. Admins can replace or delete those credentials from the product setup flow.
Service providers
KitchenInvy uses trusted service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, payments, email, and POS integrations. These providers process data only as needed to provide the service.
Support access
KitchenInvy support may access a workspace only to troubleshoot, assist onboarding, or complete requested paid setup services. Support access is logged for accountability.
Customer control
Workspace admins can manage users, update business settings, remove POS credentials, and export key business records where export tools are available. For privacy requests, contact support from the email used for the workspace.
Data retention
Canceled workspaces are retained for a limited recovery period before deletion. Customers receive a warning before scheduled deletion when email is available.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact the KitchenInvy team through the support information listed on the support page.
